South African Climate Action Network

The legal entity of SACAN for fundraising and other purposes is called the South African Climate Action Association (SACAA). This is a voluntary association that is not-for-profit. Seven SACAN members serve on the board of the association, which receives its mandate from the network membership.

Decision making within SACAN is generally by consensus, although each organisational member is entitled to one vote should the need arise.
